Hey y’all, welcome to my new blog. This is intended to be a place for me to talk about cooking and current events, and to post any original content I’ve created (videos, art, whatever). If you’d like to know more about my personal life, feel free to add me on LiveJournal ( http://magenter.livejournal.com/ ) and I’ll probably add you back – - I’m very open about most things, but I decided I’d like to separate my private life from my political/creative interests, at least as far as my blogging is concerned.

This blog is named after Ada Lovelace, widely considered the mother of computer programming. We share a given name and an interest in computer science, so I thought hers was as good a name as any.
